i'm starting my own vinyl collection to take with me on my merry way out of here. first additions? America: History; Kanye West: My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. totaled at 35 dollars to amazon, to me - priceless.
i went to kansas, i drove to kansas, it became mundane and painful but it was all worth it to see my cherub face doll. passed by the superhero action figure museum, i really have to go back to see it, it's a neccesity.

recap of last night's breezy excursion: cancelled kansas trips, escalade driving, chain smoking-mom sightings, a bottle of merlot, pop music and making it home all in one piece with touches of realization and making friends with a kewtie patootie bar tender-Alejandro (scout's honor) and a 6ft-5 brother by the name of Michel (doppleganger of dot come de 30 rock), whom offered his services of security/bar access for the nigth. all in all? a success worthy to put drake to shame. take a gander:
there are just some decades of decadance i look back on and grow greenw ith envy: the 40s, 60s, and 70s, they epitomize everything i look too: refinement, sex kitten-ness and glamour. i don't know about you, but here the weather has been terrible, so much so that all calsses have been cancelled for the week. and with all that left over time, me and my mommy have been doing some serious bonding over the seventies. her regailings of hanging out at studio 54, (the occasional hit on by Robert Di Niro), meeting Greta Garbo, and rink-rating it up at Queens roller rinks have kept me thoroughly entertained. and her opulant left-overs of 1976 of high waist everything are all the proof i need. which has inspired this latest post of what i consider tobe my scrapbook editorials that reminisce the eras. i'll break this up into 3 seperate post due to the sheer volume of photos. starting with 1940s:
one of my absolute favourite part of the fourties were Katherine's pants: Classic, Chic, Iconic. katherine: those pants: match made in heaven.
